For my latest projects, I have mixed Peter Pig with Donnington New Era, Essex, Khurasan and many others. I particularly recommend a look at the PP Viking range … over 100 variants! Being average 15mm sized they mix well with all the others …

The Splintered Light Miniatures' Dark Ages ranges are continuing to grow (Late Saxons will be out hopefully by the end of the month) and have been very well received by customers. link

When I put my medieval collection together (a long time ago), I was not aware of Essex or Donnington. My collection is mainly Essex and I like them very much. Since learning of Peter Pig (I now a fan of many of their figure lines) and Donnington I have added them to my collection and think they go well with the Essex as Phil indicated. While my figures are medieval and you are asking about Dark Age figures, I would be surprise if the Dark Age figures mentioned are less compatible than their medieval counterparts. You can see mine at warin15mm.com/Medieval-.html

Mine are a mix of just about everything already mentioned plus Baueda. I especially like the Khurasan and Splintered light offerings for use as character and leader figures.

Here are some pics…. Blog articles on my Vikings, Saxons, Leader Stands and ships.

Anyone know of a US supplier of Donnington, especially their New Era figures? Shipping direct from the manufacturer is a bit high. Alternatively a UK vendor with better shipping to the US would work too… :)

Damon.

I think Donninngton is only available direct.

The Feudal Castings/Sgt Major figures are nice.

Splintered Light are really nice, I also heard here on TMP that Thistle and Rose are coming back into production. They have some great dark ages figures as well.

I have some of the SPlintered Light vikings, nice figures. I might look at Khurasan next to mix them in…

Feudal Castings (now Sgt Major) have some nice ranges.
