How many battalions do you actually have?
Will these figures be used in a game?
All very impressive by the way. :)

Hold on, if this is the 27th at Waterloo, shouldn't most of them be dead or wounded?

Just saying!:o)

I admire you perseverance though, keep it going!

Trajanus

Yes they should be bless them. I do have a lot of casualty figures (150) to paint.

Cav Crazy

These big battalions are to be used for Hougoumont and La Haye Saint scenarios as appropriate, on a scale of roughly 1:3 so yes they will be used in a game, (sheduled for July and August)

Frederick

Thanks :)

ferg981,

Have you ever read "The Green Square"?

It was a book on the 27th at Waterloo, privately published decades ago.The only copy of it I've ever seen was in our local library.

It contains one of my favourite hard luck stories.

Concerning the only Officer in the 27th not to be killed or wounded on the day.

A few weeks after the battle, he went home to Ireland contracted Cholera and died – sometimes you just can't win!
