I've heard that Stewart of Griffin moulds has passed away. He died on the 16th of Dec with a heart attack.

Great guy, great service ! he will be sorely missed.

Our deepest condolences to his family, friends and workmates

I was surprised that this did not come up earlier. It was on several kickstarters, where I had expressed my condolences.

It was mentioned in the Sponsors' forum at the time

I wonder how many people were aware that their miniatures were cast up by his company?

If you own any of my Cracker Line or Plank Road Miniatures, Stewart cast them for my company, Good Ground. He was a fine gentleman and will be sorely missed. Beyond that, the work his company turned out is in my mind, the best possible. The good news is that they will continue to operate. They started back up yesterday after an understandable break over the holidays.

I hope they continue – Stuart was a gentleman

I just found out today. :(

Here's a belated toast to a great man. His company's casting has always been impeccable, and he will be sorely missed.
