Has anyone played Zvezda's Poltova or Napoleonic Age of Battles? Also are they available in English? Thanks. |

+1 on the question – will be interested if there are any replies. And I am guessing there will be a new Nap game from Zvezda based on their micro boxes. |

+2, but will those microboxes ever be produced now? |

Going by previous releases the micro boxes are unit expansions for art of tactic, so they go hand in hand. Keeping an open mind. The initial box set usually represents good value for money, the mocro boxes do not. |

The marketing technique of selling rules components and figures together is a complete turnoff to me. I don't buy rules before I try them and I can get miniatures cheaper without the rules elements. I expect "curmudgeon" isn't enough of an element in Zvezda's potential market to change their mind… |

it would appear they're pulling in their horns anyway, see this 8 Jan. report by Plastic Soldier Review: "Zvezda have released their 2015 catalogue, and it reveals a considerable reduction in their plans for figure production. While they have not made a full set of figures for over a year, and have no plans to resume production in the future, they have produced a steady stream of the small game pieces for Art of Tactic and Hot War. 2015 suggests a further move away from even this modest presence in the market as they have cancelled plans for 23 such sets, including everything for their Samurai, Roman, World War I and Hot War series. This just leaves coverage of World War II and the Napoleonic Wars, although both these have also seen sets cancelled." |
