I'm in the market for a battle mat or gaming top to play Warmachine and Flames of War at home when I can't make it to the LGS. I found plenty of positive reviews on the Frontline FAT mat but I could not enough reviews on the War Zone table top to help me decide between the two. I'd greatly appreciate any help or advice with this. |

I have a Warzone on order, but have never heard of a Frontline mat. When I get my Warzone I will post my thoughts. |

I got a 4' x 4' warzone board with the Terran landscape (essentially green with enough brown to make it look much more realistic). It folds in half, and the seam is not too bad. The board is a couple of inches thick, with a fake cliff effect sculpted into the sides, and the whole thing is quite lightweight. I like it. Worth the $100 USD I paid for it. |

Thanks for the quick reply. How durable does the flocking look on the table? I was a little concerned about it rubbing off with use like the Woodland Scenics mat. |

It looks pretty durable. There was no loose flocking in the bag it came in, and I took in and out of the bag without anything coming loose. I doubt it would stand up to rubbing stuff over it, but I think it will withstand taking pieces on and off and on and off of it in normal use. |

Cool deal. A first hand look at it helps a lot. |
