Well it's already shaping up to be a Happy New Year for Solo Wargamers with lots of new articles on the SWA's Lone Warrior Blog.

Paul Le Long provides an in-depth review of the Boardgame D-Day at Omaha Beach PDF link . It's an ideal game as it is designed for Solo Play ! Lot's of photo's of a game in progress, and a great read.

George Arnold gives an After Action Report on The battle of Rigatoni, a clash between 15th century Florence and Sienna. This builds on a recent article in the Lone Warrior magazine. link

Rob Morgan gives New Vanguard 84 German Light Cruisers 1939-45 a detailed review PDF link . And concluedes that it is "a useful Osprey on a less than useful group of ships." !

The sample article for January is Jonathan Aird's write up of a postal 17th century tournament between (mostly) SWA members and is taken from Lone Warrior 178 PDF link As well as the results there's a discussion on the rules used, and an AAR from one notable game. Interesting stuff!

More to follow….
