We have been planning 2015 for a long time to celebrate 50 years of miniature wargamimg. Were doing all the major battles of 1815 starting with Murat at Tolentino and ending with Waterloo! It's all in 6mm using mostly Baccus figures and Polemos rules. Pretty much every regiment/battalion will be on the table drawing from our 40,000 plus figure collection. Anyone living in or near Toronto is more then welcome to join us in these once in a lifetime events that will occur on one Sunday every month. If you are interested please contact me at glennrpearce@hotmail.com Best regards, Glenn Napoleonic Miniatures Wargame Society of Toronto Miniature Brigade |

Hello Dave! We did for many years under the name Napoleonic Miniatures Wargame Society of Toronto. We took it down with a plan to put it back up under the name of the Miniature Brigade. Sadly it's still a work in progress with no date when it will go live. If it does see the light some day I will post a notice here. Best regards, Glenn |

Hello Ted, Frederick & James! We have members from all over the province and some guests have come from the upper US as well. They treat it like going to a convention, up before dawn spend the day then go home or continue on their journey. The tentative dates are: Jan. 18, Feb. 15 – Tolentino Mar. 15, Apr. 19 – Quatre Bras May 31, June 21 – Ligny July 19, Aug. 15 – Waterloo Sept. 20 – Plancenoit Oct. 18 – Wavre Nov. 15, Dec. 6 – To be developed Some of these might be switched or changed and some battles might be played more then once if the members want to on the next date. It's not unusual for us to play a good battle more then once. James, if this remains pretty close and I'm not otherwise committed it certainly looks like I might be able to do Quatre Bras at Hotlead on Saturday March 28. Best regards, Glenn |

Hi, Glenn. Which rules and scale do you use for Napoleonics? |

Here are some photos from a game (Novi 1799) at Glenn's from a few years ago: link I have some from our most recent battle, but am about a year behind in updating my blog. You'll see the photos from Novi have been carefully annotated to give a proper historical perspective… Chris |
