Overall goals:

1) Paint or sell off more than I buy (computing each scale/size separately) in 2015.

2) Reduce the 25+ mm inventory overall in 2015

3) Transform certain genres/eras from 25+ mm to 15/6/3 mm

4) Organize in storage boxes all 6mm WW1 and 3mm Modern/WW2/WW1 aircraft

5) Organize space/starship forces and put in Storage boxes

Specifically:

2A) Reduce 25 mm SF to Stan Johansen non-human Space Marines (pre-dated GW rules/figures,) and old StarGuard Power Armor humans.

2B) Reduce 25 mm Supers to less than 22 (three teams of 7 tropes) and sell off rest.

2C) Reduce 25/28 mm VSF IHMN companies to Tarzan, Korak, Mowgli, Sheena, Beastmaster, Jane Badall, "Hunters/Explorers Club" (final name TBD,) and British Imperialists (Redcoats and Khakis.) Find a good East Indian female for Mowgli Company, find a Meriem figure for Korak.

2D) Sell off Old West figures taller than 25 mm or those not suitable for Mexico

2E) sell of all Gothic Horror figures

2F) Reduce Fantasy Dwarf figures by 300 figures.

3A) Paint current 6mm and 15mm SF and Fantasy figures

3B) establish TO&E plus backgrounds for 3mm forces in historical and imaginations.

Salibaba02 Jan 2015 6:27 a.m. PST

1) Complete my French army for Muskets and Tomahawks

2) Paint a British army to oppose it

3) Build/Paint all of my log cabin terrain pieces

4) Complete a Norse army for Of Gods and Mortals

5) Buy a new storage/display cabinet and rearrange the game room!

6) Paint a Carnosaur for my son's WHFB Lizardmen

7) Paint my Bretonnian Mordheim warband

I could add plenty more but I'm already pushing the envelope of what is realistic with these 7…

Crikies, Glenn, I didn't recognize you!

Me, to play at least one game of SOMETHING every other month.

No, really, it's getting so bad that that's questionable.

There, I whined.

2.start my wh40k in 15mm project (waiting on my first order of 'marines')

3.complte my malifaux arcanists crew and my sheamus crew

4.sell off the stuff I no longer want or use (I say that every year then I find a reason to stop myself!)

5.play 100% more games this year (only played abiut 10 times in 2014.

6. Go to at least 5 conventions this year (only 1 last year)

1. Play more games this year

2. Paint regularly and finish my 28mm ACW force

3. Reduce lead and plastic I'll never use.

whitphoto02 Jan 2015 9:38 a.m. PST

1: Get rid of all the RPG books I will never use again and just moved a second time in the boxes I packed them in 13 years ago.

2: Re-base all my Malifaux minis onto scenic bases once my KS pledge from Basius comes in

3: Finish painting the rest of my Malifaux crews and learn to play them

4: Put decals on my 28mm WWII figures

5: Finish painting my 15mm sci-fi terrain. Half my board is just primed buildings.

6: decide on my Infinity faction and put in the order

My short term goal is to finish 14 more 28mm US. Rangers for a scenario I'm running next Thursday. At my regular speed I should be done sealing them that morning.

Fat Wally02 Jan 2015 2:36 p.m. PST

1) Buy no more new lead

2) Sell off 15mm WW2 collection

3) Finish SYW Russians

Forager02 Jan 2015 3:24 p.m. PST

I only have two gaming goals for 2015

1) Have fun

2) Like a lot of us, I want to reduce my stockpile of gaming goodies a bit. Normally, though, I would just turn around and spend the proceeds on more gaming stuff. This time, I want to use it to help gain ultimate victory against my arch nemesis – the (evil) Mortgage Company – one month sooner! I need to sell $1,389 USD worth of stuff to reach my goal. Sadly, given the level of my "stockpile", this may not be too difficult…or even noticeable (sigh). Still, it will be a challenge of my determination, which (given the number of unfinished gaming projects I have) I seem to be lacking in – :p

1) Hopefully no new projects. Certainly not planning a lead ban, but I'll be happy if I can keep myself to rounding out existing armies / unpainted piles….

2) Win the lottery so I can have a crack at Fat Wally's 15mm WW2 collection…. ;-)

3) DO SOME PAINTING!!!! Ahem. While I just about managed to keep gaming in 2014, the painting and modelling side was virtually non-existent, for a variety of reasons. A few dozen ancients figures and a couple of planes were about all I managed all year. The big goal for 2015 is definitely to get back to painting in a serious fashion.

4) On the business front, start getting new decals out, and teach myself new software so I can outsource some of my printing. 2015 will definitely be Dom's Decals last year doing things the way I have done, so it's a case of changing things so it can continue, or wrapping it up. On balance, finding the time and energy for the change option would be nice….

5) Mainly (3) though – time to turn some of the lead and plastic pile into actual armies, especially as a substantial AQMF box landed in the run-up to Christmas….

War Monkey02 Jan 2015 4:41 p.m. PST

1) Get a new House, the hunt is still on, seems as soon as we find the one we like someone else has placed an offer on it, while My wife and I are doing a walk thru showing of it!

From there

2) build a work bench
3) build a gaming table
4) paint
5) build terrain

Anything more then that would just be icing on the cake

1.Round out my American platoon for Bolt Action/ chain of Command.

2. Paint up AWI British artillery.

3. Finish six more units for the Toy Soldier project.

4. Paint at least one of the Bombshell Babes I bought last year.

TodCreasey03 Jan 2015 7:54 a.m. PST

1) Get my 28mm dark ages to about 600 DBMM points (focussing on Macbeth/ Malcolm Canmore so that is a lot of spear)

2) Wrap up what I need to do Waterloo next year (just some Guard Cavalry most likely)

3) Get some 15mm Sassanid Persians ready for Cold Wars DBMM tourney

4) Paint the Sea Peoples DBA my daughter got me for Xmas

My kids have pretty much wiped out painting time now as they stay up later so I have to keep it managable.

panzersaurkrautwerfer03 Jan 2015 12:49 p.m. PST

1. Finish enough science fiction terrain to set up a game (not required, but I've got a stack of gamecraft buildings that need doing).

2. Update my FoW Germans to be a more 1945 force, build my Bridge at Remagen US company.

3. Complete my science fiction US Army infantry, and associated armor.

4. More xenomorphs (I'm at 24 drones+a few bigger ones, I'm ultimately shooting for 48 drones and a wider assortment of "special" ones

5. Finish one of the three or so dropships I've purchased (dropships are inherently cool, I have a hard time saying no to them…but yeah I've got three different types and should really actually paint one of them up)

6. Figure out what I'm going to do for a game table.

Aaack! I hope my current order arrives before you "wrap it up"!

Seriously, I guess a 1/300th WW1 order and some more 1/600th decals orders might not be amiss!

There'll be plenty of warning if I do shut up shop, but evidently I should've just kept that to myself. My mistake.
