I just started a new blog today and my first post on it!

mars-miniatures.blogspot.com

Where I explore the possibility of my becoming a full time miniature painter. Also 10mm Copplestone dwarves, Warmaster Dwarf generals, 10mm Fellowship, and my review of 6mm Total Battle buildings for use in 10mm games.

Some pics below, more on my blog, check it out!

Goodness!

How tall is a 10mm hobbit?

JimDuncanUK,

The hobbits are tiny and look to be 8mm, dwarves are 9mm.

Steve W, Ragbones,

Thank you gentlemen. Tomorrow I will take photos and share pics of my red tile roofed Gondorian (Spanish/Italian) buildings. And 10mm Orcs, Wargriders, Nazgul, and a Balrog!

Wouldn't a 10mm hobbit be 10mm tall?

Very pretty stuff, both the buildings and the figures.

I was just looking at these miniatures last might. Considering getting into this scale for mass battles.

I love Warmaster and 19mm. Very nice work all around. Your terrain is fantastic!

Thanks everyone,

Oh, and also, if anyone is into or wanting to get into this scale like you Greylegion, I have some news that I dont think is common knowledge yet…

I asked Mark Copplestone in an email he sent me about shipping/tracking numbers for my order, whether he had plans on expanding his 10mm LOTR line. Hold on, let me find that email and copy pasta his reply:

"Glad you like the range – I do plan to add Elves to the range ASAP, but I'm a little caught up in the one-man business trap so that by the time I've cast, packed and done all the adminm stuff I never seem to have much time for sculpting.
Merry Christmas!
Mark"

Ha! Excellent! That was one question on my mind, as I noticed that there were no elves in the range. I actually looked to see what figures could be "converted" to represent elves. Nice.

Id be Ugly if I wasnt Ugluk,
Thanks!

doublesix66,
I will use these for Warmaster/BOFA. But also for Mayhem from Brent Spivey, and also for some hybrid rpg mix of TSR Birthright and Battlesystem. Oh and also the new Osprey Lion Rampant. Although I might mix the best elements of all of the above to make my own homebrew.
