Hello, I put up a quick narrative report of our last 40K game. We are experimenting with other rule sets, so we used Bolt Action. It worked well in the 40k universe; although, the poor dice rolling did not make for many wounds ;) If you are interested in a quick read with a number of photos, please check it out here link I didn't put up any army lists or much in the way of stats…sorry. Hope it is of some interest. Here is a pic…

Cool stuff. You noted not writing down your stats for the DE and Marines but it would be interesting to see those if you can share 'em later on. |

Yeah, I blew it by not keeping the written copy from the game. I can try to remember and post them ASAP. |

Have you tried Gates Of Antares ? Its quite well done and provides a good game of sci fi using very similar mechanics to BA with a few differences. Its a free download. If you enjoyed your Bolt Action version of 40K I reckon you would like GoA even more using the same figures. We play it quite a bit using our old 40K armies and so far haven't encountered any issues , it more than just BA in space . cheers Tom |

Very cool and thanks!! We will give the GoA rules a try. The one page rules are great, too. We have used those before. Take care! |
