I had some plastic 1/32 American Revolution toy soldiers lying around, so I created a simple ruleset for playing quick, imaginary battles with them. I was not attempting to create either the latest and greatest system, nor one with any real attachment to historical accuracy. It's just a fun, fast easy system that "feels" right to me, and fits the cheap, plastic toy sets we all know and perversely love. The rules are written with the thought that younger players could easily use them, but older players still would appreciate the tactical challenges.

So I'm offering them for free. Go to my blog, read the demo AAR, and follow the instructions there to request a PDF copy via e-mail.

Here's the blog link: link

The rules are titled "Redcoats & Minutemen," though they cover a slightly broader realm of troops (basically, anything you can find in an AWI toy set).

Enjoy!

PS: if anyone wants to host the rules for direct download, please contact me at the e-mail mentioned in the blog post.
