Yesterday James and I fought another Spanish Civil War engagement around the small town of Gran Salacias. This time it was a battle of attrition as Ejército Popular de la República tried to retake ground occupied by the Moroccan Regulares.
We used the Chain of Command rules with the Spanish Civil War supplement.
I've done a full report with orders of battle and loads more images on the Scrivsland blog link |

Another good one. Great terrain and figures too. Mark |

Paul, thanks for sharing. The Bilboa AC was certainly the star of the show. The game would have taken a much different tone if the T-26 had managed to disable it on that first shot. I look forward to your next AAR. Merry Christmas! |

Thank you. The Bilbao was indeed fortunate to escape the attentions of the T-26, James got too fixated in using it to take my jump-off rather than eliminating the armoured car. |

Sweet AAR, terrain and figures! Chain of Command really delivers a rewarding game. |
