I really wanted to do something with a bit of a holiday theme so came up with this scenario;
A Christmas eve foraging game outside Philadelphia 1777. (Also known as last minute shopping)

Neat! How'd you do the snow?

I think you've done a great job of making it look cold out.

Excellent idea! And very nice to look at. I can feel the chill in the air just looking at it.

I just bought myself a nice big expanse of white fleece to use as snowscape, and I've been wondering how to dress it up into real terrain. You just showed me how. I'm sure I can find brown fur somewhere, and unflocked Woodland Scenics trees should make nice bare trees, though I may have to acquire a lot more…

What did you use for the loose snow sprinkled on the non-white terrain bits?

Wow. Awesome. Well done sir, well done. :-)

Loose snow is the Woodland Scenic snow from a big canister. Biggest pain was making the dead-ish trees on the edges of the woods.
Otherwise just used my white-ish ground sheet and covered it with dull brown grass (colored teddy bear fur)
Thanks,
Mark

Nice to see Lancashire Games figures in play. Don't see them as often as you should.

How do you get that Woodland Scenic snow off again when you're done?

I'm from Philadelphia, you really did capture the "feel" of the area in winter. AWESOME JOB! It really does look COLD!

Y A-just carefully maneuver the sheet so you can shovel it up and pour the debris back into the container. All the small bits of darker foliage can go in there also and be sprinkled out for the next game. It just helps add to the general messiness of winter fields.

Agree with those above commenting on how well you have done in making everything look so cold.

Well done. I've always wanted to do Battle of Trenton this time of year.

Your terrain and figures look great.

It looks that kind of damp, cold, slushy way. Terrific effect!

Excellent Job on the Terrain! Played most of the 1777 campaign, I will have to add this to my list. Great Job.
