Just submitted my latest entry to the Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge, both packets of Bob Murch's terrific Boys In Blue miniatures from his Gangland Justice range. Great models to paint and I'm now looking forward to painting up his gangsters as some opposition, over the next couple of weeks.

For those interested I cover how I painted them with some close-up pics on my blog posting here: link

Thanks for looking :-)

Those look really good--full of character. I also really like the gloss finish; this always gives a nice "toy" feeling as opposed to the grittier look more common today. Excellent work!

Nice Thirties look, eh. I have a bunch of these boys for my 1930's Zombie game. And I have another set of them for Rogue Cops…identifiable by their Yellow slickers.

Your approach here is perfect. I love Bob's figs.

@Daryl – Many thanks indeed. I'm an old-fashioned gamer who started out with shiny metal soldiers who had red cheeks so coat all my minis with gloss varnish.

@Matsuru – Cheers. They are cracking sculpts. I can certainly see why you'd have two sets :-)

@Ironicon – Much appreciated. They are great figs aren't they.
