I actually want to use them as space bording marines for firestorm armada, I am buying a Relthoza fleet and am told they are spiders, bit like the shadows out of Babylon 5 (best sci fi series ever).

You should have these ideas just after Halloween; the dollar stores (think 2/3 pound) were full of them. ;->=

Might still be some hanging in a pound store, and if one's handy, save on shipping, look for other things to use weirdly in gaming.

Mind you, for alien boarders, I'd prefer something that stands a bit taller, maybe on spindly legs.

Thanks guys, i had not thought of plastic ones.

I have ordered 20 plastic spiders, they should do. Maybe I will mould a little gun on them or something :)

TNE2300 thanks for the link, i had not realised that existed, agree the ixx warriors would work well, though for my purposes the cheaper plastic spiders may work well enough and actually be "funnier" when I drop them all over the enemy ship!

Perhaps a "frikin laser on their heads" for those of you who liked Austin Powers….

Here's the official ground troops, but I don't know if you can get the infantry separately.

Or there's these cyber-spiders which are about 1.5cm long

You ARE promising an AAR, aren't you?

I have a certain place in my heart for sadistic game masters. Wish I could send a gift. Ticking? What ticking?
