… 39294 SUV and GAZ-3344 in the Arctic Region. The Russian army performs some military tests with new all-terrain vehicles Trekol SUV and GAZ-3344 in the Arctic Region. Russia tested the vehicles on the Arctic peninsula of Rybachiy, 200 kilometers from Murmansk, Russian Defense Minister said December 15, 2014. Russian armed forces decided to try the vehicles after considering 20 models of military vehicles in order to find the best prototype to carry out missions in permanently frozen regions. Witth its new military bases in the Arctic Region, Russian troops need vehicles able to operate in snow and all-terrain terrain conditions but also able to operate at very low temperatures…"
