Anyone have any idea how much the original Chaos Space Marine heavy weapons are worth? I probably need to sell the because we don't have space for anything, but every time I look at them I can hardly stand to part with them. It's really, really unlikely that I'll ever play 40K again, but that doesn't seem to have anything to do with it.

Things are worth what people are willing to pay for them, no more.

But realistically, go to eBay, watch auctions of these same figures to see what the price is when they sell (or don't) at the end of the auction and you'll have an idea.

Even then, you'll only have a REAL subjective idea. If a auction ended at $5 USD for one figure and it never sold, next week that figure could get bid up to $20 USD… you just never know who is on and who wants it when.

Bartertown is another option, but you have to be patient until the collectors show their faces… the majority there are not collectors and most have this attitude of "I'll only buy at better than 70% value because I can get it from XXXXX store for 30% off anyways, blah blah blah."

Unfortunately, I don't think they will yield much on Ebay. These are Rogue Trader era OOP figures so there are collectors who may be interested in them, but they're not exactly great sculpts compared to later releases and it also depends on if the collectors already have them in their collection.

Four of the five Tzeench possessed marines have missile launchers it appears.

Here's a link to current Ebay listings of 40K Chaos Rogue Trader OOP (out of production) figures to give you an idea:

Sorry, those aren't actually mine--that was just an example of what release I was talking about.

I rather liked these figures. We'll, still do.

Thanks, all.

Yeah I've always loved the original chaos marines. Not sure what it is, but they just have a pretty good character compared to the newer ones.

I've got 40-50 of them probably 15 of which are the heavy weapon guys. I think I paid $5 USD-8 per figure for them. I see them regularly for about $12 USD-14 each on ebay. But usually that is a buy it now so I'm not sure how many sell for that.

I pay around £5.00 GBP-7 each, so around what $8 USD-10 a model – I'm always looking for RT era stuff, so if you do decide you wish to part with them (or anyone else who has any)… ;-)
