I just bought these rules, played a couple of trial games with them and they seem promising. I have some questions about them, particularly about the turn sequence and reaction tests, and how these work with groups of more than one character. I am sure all my questions have been asked and answered many times, but I am struggling to find them. The rules themselves refer to a Yahoo group, but that link is broken. There is a Two Hour Wargames archive group on Yahoo, but that is not for new posts, and it has very little content. I looked at the Two Hour forum, and again very little on this game, and certainly not a mass of old answers, which is what I am looking before. I guess I could start asking questions there (or even here) but before I start that, does anyone know if there is a stock of old answers somewhere I could browse? |

Yahoo went to the "neo" train wreck and here's the new link. link If you ask questions on the forum you'll specific answers within 24 hours. link Lots of stuff was lost when Yahoo switched their boards, which gave rise to the forum. |

Thanks, yes, I posted my questions and got full replies from Ed in much less than 24 hours – full answers to my questions, and also a suggestion to download the (free) Chain Reaction rules. I have done that and they not only clarify many of my queries, but they also represent an improvement on some of the rough edges in the 6GS rules, which are now getting on. Ed says there's going to be a new version soon. Great service, for sure. |
