I am looking for some supplementary information on the Battle of Bloody Gulch – Normandy (13 Jun 44) which was principally fought between E/506 PIR and elements of 6 FJR and 17SS Pz Div in the vicinity of Carentan. I have obviously referred to Band of Brothers (Ambrose) as a primer, however, I am interested in conducting some more granular research. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

There is info from the Army's CMH--I remember downloading a map and such--probably from one of the documents here: link

Sorry I can't be more specific, but my research on this was about 10 years (or maybe a little more) ago and I just can't remember which document had the info.

Good luck!

Rob

Rob,

Thanks for the link.

I found some helpful information within the UTAH BEACH TO CHERBOURG (6 June-27 June 1944) CMH document.
