My second battalion of the 308th Rifle Division fighting in the defence of Stalingrad was finished today. There are more pictures on the blog:

The comrades look splendid, and they will certainly do some damage to the fascist invaders! Bad luck with the fellow with the rifle, I hope you can make some repairs. The rifle must have been made by a fascist sympathizer.

Great looking bunch of guys. It can be very difficult to make repairs in 15mm. Not impossible, though.

boy wundyr x11 Dec 2014 1:51 p.m. PST

Really like the basing.

Weasel11 Dec 2014 1:58 p.m. PST

Yeah, the bases are fantastic.

Abwehrschlacht11 Dec 2014 2:35 p.m. PST

Cheers chaps, yes, making repairs can be done at this scale. Not, however, when yo have dropped the end of the rifle on the floor and can't find it again… :(

The bases are just covered in my home-made rubble mix. Very simple to do!

tuscaloosa11 Dec 2014 3:37 p.m. PST

They look great! I can already feel my blood stirring with the desire to defend against the fascist invaders!

Abwehrschlacht11 Dec 2014 4:29 p.m. PST

Stamp out the Fascist viper! Thanks Tuscaloosa!

Poniatowski12 Dec 2014 5:17 a.m. PST

Awesome!!! A real inspiration!
I have left my Soviets unfinished because I am having trouble with the basing…. rubble is harder than it looks.

Abwehrschlacht12 Dec 2014 7:05 a.m. PST

Thank you, rubble can be tricky, but I am currently working on making pre-packed rubble mixes, they should be available for sale in the next couple of weeks.

Sweet, love the greatcoats mixed in! Gives them a more realistic lived in look

Abwehrschlacht14 Dec 2014 3:52 a.m. PST

Cheers guys, yeah, Bracken, I like the idea of different uniforms in the same unit!
