I am building an salamanders army of mk 3 FW marines, and I want to paint them sort of in muted colors. I'm thinking about priming them army painter army green and then working up from there. Would that be the color you would recommend?

I'm aiming for the this- (in next post)

I would primer them in black. If you want muted colors you might want to try a dark green colour followed by a highlight of Vallejo reflective green. Then highlight that with reflective green mixed with a muted yellow, like the base colour yellow in the citadel range.

Just FYI …

I want to make them more of a "army green" color, that is sufficiently dark to allow for good highlights, but I want it in a spray can, that will work on resin.
