Hi guys,

Seeing as this section is mostly latent i wish to try my chances.

Anyone looking to get rid of 6mm WW2 forces? Interested in Germans, Russians and Americans (in this order).

Thank you!

Buddha207909 Dec 2014 3:31 p.m. PST

I have a ton of all of those. Email me at maxcubfan12@yahoo.com and we can discuss.

Baycee…take at look at CR6. Although he doesn't do armor, you won't find better infantry.

"… Prices range from USD 85.00 for single color uniform forces to
USD 100.00 for camouflaged/multi-colored uniform units.
Shipping costs are extra. Payment is only through PayPal."

"… CR6 is not a commission painting service and does not accept
custom orders. CR6 does not accept pre-orders; only units
currently in stock are available for purchase."

Ouch! And nothing post or pre WW2. It is not matter of price as much as a matter of my budget and different interests. Very nice if it fits your TO&E, no doubt.

Baycee is interested in WWII. The TO&E is a standard infantry company, and each set consists of 63 figures. IMO, $85 USD is reasonable, especially considering the quality. Ben

Thanks for the link Ben, i checked it out but i'm looking for unpainted and unbased stuff. :) The price is a bit high for me also, although i understand the quality and i do agree they look awesome.

@Buddha2079: I have emailed you.

Any other guys that want to dump some GHQ on me? :)

Baycee13 Dec 2014 10:45 a.m. PST

I've counted up everything i want to be able to play several German vs American lists (tanks, infantry, mech, etc) and the grand total for original GHQ was around 300 pounds so….. a couple of hours later i think i am going to order from Heroics and Ros. Might be worse as quality but the order is only 90 pounds.

GHQ is having a Christmas sale on their website.

I have both GHQ and H&R for the early war period (not for sale though). Some of the newer H&R casts are very good. I prefer GHQ but H&R have a much wider range. I can't get Light Dragon carriers for the BEF from GHQ for example. There is a difference in size but if you don't mix them in the same units it isn't too noticeable.

You might actually prefer H&R over GHQ infantry, because:

1) Compared to H&R, GHQ infantry tends to be over-scale relative to both 1/285 and 1/300 vehicles, and

2) Compared to H&R, GHQ infantry tends to slightly awkward angular poses with oversized weapons.

WRT the first issue, GHQ is still better than Adler or Baccus, though.

But Adler has a better variety of poses, more and better detail, and you can order the amount of support weapon team that you want.

Baycee,
If you're still interested I have a load of H&R I would like to sell. Germans, American and British, maybe some Russians in there too. Some painted.
email me at <sixmilbuilders@outlook.com> and I will sort them out after the weekend.
