Does anyone know of a source for downloadable 1806 Saxon flags online? Histoflag doesn't have Saxons. |

Toronto has it right, but with the following caveats. All the examples for infantry have the two sides the wrong way around. They should be the same as the cavalry examples, with the royal arms on the side which has the flagpole to the left. Secondly, on the infantry flags all the royal monograms are contained in an oval shield/cartouche. On all these infantry flags this cartouche should be white, not field colour. Mollinary |
