An AAR from a solo game using the Panzer Korps rules. Operation Constellation, a British Divisional attack in Holland in the weeks after Market Garden. 6mm troops, mostly GHQ.

Looks a great game. As a matter of interest how long does a game of this size take?

In my case it was spread over a period of several days, playing a few turns each evening when I had some spare time. But doing it in a single session it would be probably be a long afternoon or evening, including set up. That's the great benefit of playing solo and having a table I can leave set up permanently – I can play a turn if I have a scrap of spare time, even just twenty minutes.

John – the British unit markers you've made, any chance of putting a pdf of them up at the Panzer Korps Yahoo Group?

I'm just starting with Panzer Korps (after reading your excellent Epsom battle report) and could do with a set.

Many Thanks,

B

A really interesting write up – thank you.

I am also starting out with these rules and will be mainly playing solo. 10mm figs with the rules 6mm ground scale.

Nice blog as well.

Thanks
