I, for the life of me, can not figure out what this Kickstarter is about/for: link It really makes no sense. Is it just for some dice? ($10 each? $25 USD each if you want to pick the color?) Something to do with software and programming? $20,000 USD goal to buy some 3D printers? Apparently works with both consoles and PCs! You have to take a look at the creator's bio! Maybe it's a scam of some sort? Seems idiotic, I'm not sure why I'm 'tanking' an interest, seriously ? |

I "think" it is to make dice that are a video game controller Why hit A when you can roll it |

I love the bit in the risks section where it says he needs collaboration with manufacturers and programming help. Just what the "heck" is he able to do? |

@Saber6 – I thought that too but the picture just looks like some D6. What do you suppose dice-like video controllers would look like and how would they function? Is there a dual-purpose rollable controller technology out there that I've never heard of? |

No because he doesn't provide enough information about it. He talks of making dice and needing printers for the dice and why exactly do you need to get board game companies involved when he then talks about software. There is no logic involved in his attempt at explaining what he is trying to do and what exactly will come out of it. |

Nope. And probably no one else will either. Which is why he only has $6 USD so far. |

The picture of the dice show four colors. Those colors match the colors on the video controller. I don't know how they would work on a PC. The last time I checked I did not have a green button to attack. |

Hey, only $250.00 USD for five dice. And you can choose the color yourself! |

That's one of the worst kickstarter pitches I've seen so far. I imagine that one is going to sink without trace. If you must have dice that act as a computer peripheral, there is at least one product on the market already. |

This thread has more information listed, than the kick starter page. |

He's updated the project to include: "ok more on how they will work they will have a soft button the insides will have a wire frame with a small circuit board and something like the plastic circuit for in most controllers. the other five side will to the same weight as the circuit board" It's amazing to see someone asking for $20,000 USD and being so indifferent to details like capitalization, punctuation, and logical explanations. Makes you kind of wonder how he'd be able to pull this off if he even had a chance of getting funded. I'd kick in $1,000 USD just to go to the launch party. |

This is what I like about TMP Always find something to make me laugh At the kickstarter top it says 2 backers, but in the list of backer levels it is all zeros. So where do the backers come from ? His mum and dad ? I doubt it is his girlfriend :) Do you know that guy who always has some great idea ? I worked in an office with someone who kept on telling us that airships were going to be the travel of the future John |
