Hi, Does anyone have any experience with using Veni Vidi Vici Late Roman shield transfers with Splintered Light Romano-British figures? I'm aware of the LBS shield transfers, designed to fit SL figures, but I have a couple of units that I want to have a more regular/Roman look (same shield design). Thanks! Cheers, Christopher |

This thread reminds me that I need to find my old VVV transfers to see. I have no idea where they are but it seems I bought them with some thought that they would work. I realize even as I type this that it helps you not at all. It is late. David splinteredlightminis.com |

Ha! Good intentions count. ;) Let me know if you dig them out. I unfortunately had to put this project on hold, but it's great to be getting back to your figures. Cheers, Christopher |

Justins VVV transfers might be a little on the small side. If you speak to Steve at LBMS he will give you the dimensions of his Late Roman ones designed for Legio Heroica, which might fit. Alternatively give him the dimensions of the Splintered Light shields and he will advise. |

Thanks for the advice – I should have thought of that! C |

I heard back very quickly from Steve at LBM, and the gist of it is that the Legio Heroica transfers are shorter and a bit wider than the SL shields, but that patterns without borders would probably work (I'm thinking like his Late Roman #'s 4 and 5). |
