I am looking for a creative why to insert my Marines into a zombie invested area and what better why that the Osprey. I wanted to know if anyone makes an Osprey in 28mm. I'm crap at building models so I wanted to know if there is a different option available.

Any suggestions?

There are quite a few--non model--out there but the "toy" versions are in the 15mm scale.

28mm are more of the "show" scale items and are quite pricy--the cheapest one is an all wood version for around $75 USD on Amazon---the rest are well above $100 USD

The least expensive option is an Italeri plastic kit in 1/48 scale. It's really pretty simple to build, the only annoying parts are the wing flow fences and the leading edge root extensions. Both are thin plastic with minimal locating tabs/slots.

But otherwise it builds up pretty easy. Mind how much pressure you put on the rear ramp, the hydraulic struts are pretty thin.

You need one to stabilize your roof? can't imagine the weight if it was done as many models are.+size
