link Smokey was right, I should have tried Spanish instead of ancient Egyptian. But I need to redouble my efforts in order to learn it. Blake |

I learned (decades ago) based on two things: Gardiners Egyptian Grammar (still available on Amazon I see) and the fact that I had a great teacher who was able to support us as we stumbled through the arrangement of the Grammar. You may find the book of use (if you don't already have it, certainly I loved it both as a thing of beauty in itself as well as a teaching aid) but seriously, I suspect a great teacher is the most useful asset! |

Work first on the most common phrases that you'll use the most. "Where is the toilet?" "How much does that cost?" "That costs too much." "Please bring another beer." "I am a Canadian." |

Definitely a useful language in Memphis, Tn. :) Should be a would bridging language IMO we'd spend so much time trying to learn it we would not have time for war. Cheers and kisses to HH Cleo. (Yes I know she was Greek:+) |
