While it started almost a decade ago as a 40K event, we've been having a Tanksgiving as a FoW event for several years. The latest is visible on the Battlefront website, and I invite you to have a look. link My thanks to cherished customer Bill and my co-owner Hobie for reporting this monster! And to Battlefront for sharing a small heartland store's fun with the world. Doug |

Looks like an old fashioned slug-fest! Or was it a Stug-fest? |

Our group did one with WW1 tanks! But we were not so lucky to be "Mentioned in Dispatches!" ;) Congratulations, VB |

One bit of confusion; the blurb sez twenty, but Hobie told me, yesterday, twenty-two participants. Even with fifty-two feet of circumference, it was obviously crowded at times. VB: You obviously need a Hobie; he's very good at promotion. But, only one. No one could stand two. ;->= (I'm gonna get it!) How big a brew up was it? Please tell me there were pictures! Doug |

Thanks, Michael! Most kind; I feel a bit of a tear coming on. ;->= I will point the kind words out to Hobie, though I think our cutomers deserve high praise as well. By the way, I don't think you were the only one needing replacement, as Hobie at one point said the number was actually 22. With about 52' around the 'table', looked it bit crowded at times. Update: We've linked to your blog from our FB and Web pages. Doug |
