Siege of Augusta! January 16-18, 2015 DoubleTree by Hilton in beautiful Augusta, Georgia DBA 3.0 Open Tournament: DBA Version 3.0, 16 Players, 4 Rounds, 15mm, 2' x 2' Boards Grand Ballroom, Saturday 7 PM – 12 AM Host: Joe Collins jcollins@blr.com This will be a standard 15mm open… Swiss Chess… matched historical opponents if possible 1st round. BUAs if both players agree. DBA 3 or 2.2 armies are legal! I will host a short 20 minute "DBA 3 Update" session before the tournament. I would love to see everyone there. I also will be hosting a Big Battle of Version of Brunanburh 937AD (which just may be a preview of the upcoming Great Battles of History for DBA 3!) Joe Collins |

This old town is filled with sin It'll swallow you in If you've got some money to burn Take it home right away You've got three years to pay And Satan is waiting his turn The scientists say it'll all wash away But we don't believe anymore 'Cause we've got our recruits In their green mohair suits So please show your I. I'll be running a 28mm Ice and Fire game using D3H2. I think Joe is also running a Big Battle Game in 28mm. My Ice and Fire games are open ended so you can bring your own 28mm army or just borrow one of mine. TomT |

Yes, Saturday afternoon I will be running two historical battles. The first is Burnanburh 937AD… using 25mm Historical Refight DBA. The second will probably be Enguingate 1479AD. I am still painting on this one. "on the 31st floor a gold plated door won't keep out the Lord's burning rain" Sorry about the "Sin City" quotes. I have been on a Flying Burrito Brothers kick recently. I would love to go to a convention in Vegas. Is there one? Joe Collins |
