Can anyone recommend rules for 28mm skirmish gaming – ACW Guerrilla's and Jayhawkers – Missouri Kansas border war.

Depending on how many figures you want to use, there are a plethora of Wild West rules out there that would work just fine, and all of which have their own fan base.

I'm thinking along the same lines Tabasco, just ordered BvsB. Any recommendations for the irregulars in Missouri/Kansas? ACW is a new period for me.

The 'State of War' ACW skirmish rules from Tyneside Wargames site are great we use them regularly (the only downside is artillery is not covered):

Plus they are free so at that price you've got nothing to lose trying them!
