Here's a short, sharp action where a smaller force catches a larger fleet at anchor: link As always, please take a look. Comments (good/bad/indifferent) are all welcome. Hugh |

Good job! That scenario is just begging for a sequel, where the Klingons decide to get their revenge. |

Defeat the enemy (fleet) and the terrain (Station) will fall by itself. |

Yep, I would have not fired at the station at all. Good AAR, thank you. :) |

Defeat the enemy (fleet) and the terrain (Station) will fall by itself. No time pressure? No threat of reinforcements? Might have been appropriate to ONLY fire at the station in that case, and die as honorably as possible hoping to take it out. Oh, wait, 'die honorably', pirates, 'die honorably', pirates, 'die honorably', pirates… Never mind. ;->= Hadn't seen a post from you recently, Hugh. Definitely a fun one! …where the Klingons decide to get their revenge. Alas, just as they are about to do so, the Orions make them an offer… Doug |

Great scenario! I agree with tdkguy – this is the sort of thing that the Imperial Klingon Navy will not let go unanswered! |

If there was no time limit, I would think eliminating the KLingon fleet asap would be the first goal. Once that's done, the unarmed base can be dealt with at leisure. Heck, bring in a Salvage cruiser and some "marines" and loot the place. :) Then blow it up. |

Thanks, guys. I agree that the Klingon Empire is unlikely to take this lying down! When I set up this scenario, it was very much my intent that the attackers would have to decide fire priorities between the warships and the facility. I wasn't very specific about victory conditions or time limits, though. In a more competitive setting I think that both of these would need to be much more explicit. |
