The games are played, the scores are in, and now it's time to announce the overall winners for the 2014 Good, Bad and Ugly Tournament. This has been a record breaking year with 8 Legs played, and I lost count of the number of players involved, but I am thinking somewhere around 60-70.

The top place winners came in with some really good scores and it was close in that we had a tie for first place overall, which was decided by accounting for the number of losses the two tied players had – with a 2 point difference!

So without further delay, the over all winners are

First Place – Dave Cliffel of the Nashville Leg will receive a Robin Hood trophy and a Robin Hood army

Second Place – James Hughes of the republic of Texas Leg will receive a Captain Hook trophy and a Captain Hook army

Third Place – Michael Harker of the Glasgow Leg will receive a Dan Dare trophy and a Mekon army

The Tail End Charlie – Dave Williams of Coventry will receive a Prince and the Pauper trophy and a Gnome Flowerpult

The Barker Award will be decided from among the several entries, allowing one from each Leg for the best theme army. Pictures of the armies will be put up on Fanaticus, TMP and HotT Yahoo for the public to vote. The voting will be left open for one week and then that winner will be announced. The winner will receive a barker Trophy and a Barker Marker of a court jester to be based for either 15 MM or 28 MM depending on the winner's choice.

I also feel I must thank those who helped make it possible and first off, a note of thanks to the Leg Coordinators, who established, and hosted the event in their location. They are Pete Duckworth, Euan Caldwell, Bob Carter, Steve Jones, Blake Radetsky Bob Beattie and Tom Thomas. As a small token of thanks they will be receiving a gift certificate from Barry Scarlett for some of his excellent grass tufts. My very sincere thanks gentlemen.

Next I must thank Scott Reeves and HMGS MidSouth for his wonderful help in providing the overall prize armies, and for the excellent space made available for the Nashville Leg of the tournament.

And along with that sincere thanks go to Dave McBride of Splintered Light Miniatures and Mike Renager of Rebel Miniatures for there part in providing the overall prize armies.

Along with that goes my sincere thanks to Barry Scarlett for his contribution of some of his new grass tuft products.

I must also say thank you to Paul Potter for contributing the local Nashville Leg prizes, and to David Crenshaw for his financial contribution toward the "give away" dice. Thank you my friends!

A very special thank you goes to Phil and Sue Barker for their support of this tournament and for making a showing again this year at the Coventry Leg. Thanks to them we have this great set of rules to play that let's us hold this tournament.

And finally my sincere thanks to all who joined in and played in this years tournament. I hope you had fun and will come back for next year, which we'll be announcing the them for it very soon.

This has been a very exciting tournament for me because of such great enthusiasm shown for it. Thank you to all, and those who have been following it on the various forums.
