I took some photos of my Rebs the other day so today I got my Union forces out of the cabinet. So far its abit more cavalry based but I do intend to correct that at some point soon! Well soonish! So here they all are

Thanks guys all feedback very welcome.

Ivor13 my ACW collection is a true labour of love for me, and its still got a long long way to go.

Painter Jim I'm not at home at the moment but they are based for some skytrex rules I've had for a few years, OK a lot of years. I can't remember the extact sizes but I will have a look and let you know.

Scomac, yep every single one is a Dixon mini. Although some are heavily converted, i like cutting them up and creating original figures! Its a bit addictive I'm affraid.

Cavcrazy, I do have other makes ie sash & sabre, reboudt, foundry but Dixon really are top of my list.

Thanks Shagnasty, as I've already said its a true labour of love.

tigrifsgt thank you also, my next unit up are my tiger zouaves they have being on the cards for a long time now!

can only add to the list saying a good job, you also did some Berdan sharpshooters awhile ago ….still have them?

Cheers Hammerhead, yep still got them they are supporting the DMC on the right of the bottom two pics, I did almost forget to put them in the photo they still need a few more finishing to bring them up to strength! but ive rested up and plan to make a bit of a comeback with my collection come the new year. The display cabinet is full so I will need to invest in a larger cabinet to house the new additions that I have planned.

Thanks Frederick, I know Dixon aren't everyone's cup of tea but I must admit I'm a fan for all there faults.

Painter Jim I almost forgot base sizes are

Infantry 66mm wide by 50mm deep (six figs per base)
Cavalry 60mm wide by 65mm deep (two figs per base)

They are based for some slightly old skytrex rules, sorry its taken me a while to reply I've a memory like a…….. Sorry what was I saying!

I'm trying to find the time to clean up and prep my union artillery, but with Christmas looming ever closer its looking like its gonna be the New Year before i can even give them some real time! least my Wheats Tigers are almost ready to move to the paint table. Not quite my original plan doing more rebs first but they are ahead on the prep stakes. OK pretty flimsy excuse but its the best I've got.
