Nice. Reminds me of some fun games using similar buildings. Welcome to TMP. |

Amused that you apologised for presenting in Italian. "il castello di Hougomont." sounds so much better……… Doesn't anything if you are in Tuscany in early summer and it is not raining torrentially? |

I am in Piedmont, near Turin. Even here it rains a lot. Ciao Fabrizio. Marco |

First time I've ever heard Hougoumont called a castle! |
Marcus Henry de Graya | 29 Nov 2014 11:27 a.m. PST |
It is indeed strange. But in Italian is called castle. In Italian there is no difference between the manor and castle. Or as in German Schloss and Stein. Perhaps it was once a small country castle was transformed into a farm. Even in France there Château Hougoumont. |

Very nicely done, my friend! |

Do not apologise to my Mrs Deadhead for speaking to her in Italian. That was what I meant… To me it is a nice menu, maybe a wine list. To her, a man speaking Italian seems to have a different effect……… Sickening (for me). Next time I take her there (early 2015) we will go to "il castello di Hougomont" It sounds so much better, even I admit! It is the language…….. |

"Castillo" can mean Chateau, not just castle (can also mean "Fortified manor") |

Exactly, Dave Jackson. Thanks for the clarification. Marco |
