Hi all, I have a vague memory fom many years ago that a Roman version of his campaign rules "The Sun Never Sets" was written. Does anyone remember this or, better yet, have a copy? |

This is something that is needed, its a simple system and would work great. There was a game my Yaquinto games called the Barbarians you should take a peek at. |

Many years ago at Historicon, Dave Waxtel said that he had used a roman version of TSNS campaign, but that it was not published. Maybe you are thinking of the roman version of "On to Richmond" that was published in the old Courier? |

Probably obvious, but we're The Sun Never Sets written for the Victorian British Empire? |

Yes indeed, The Sun Never Sets campaign covers all the British Victorian "Little Wars." Ingenious system where each player commands Her Majesty's troops in one area and the enemies in another. The Parliamentary sessions can become very entertaining as the players try to boost their own position and hinder others. |

Sounds appropriate for Romans and Chinese empires too. Guess they are long out of print? |

"The Sun Never Sets" still available in print or pdf from Virtual Armchair General link Or less colorful as the original Courier article from Wargame Vault, link For actual play, the campaign really needs multiple players (5 or more). |
