So, with the first iteration of the DBA Amazon army finished, I have turned my attention to my Early Achaemenid Persians. I have already purchased the cavalry models and some of the infantry (all Wargames Factory plastics,) but I still need another 48 infantry. Wargames Factory has a really sweet sale on Persians right now, 12 guys for $2.80 USD. It's under $13 USD for what I need, including shipping.

So, when I discussed buying them with my wife, I told her I needed another 48 Persian soldiers. Her reply was, What is that for? The army of Xerxes?" I was surprised how quickly she zeroed in on what I was planning. And then it dawned on me! Thank you, "300." You have made my hobby shopping easier.

We have a lot to thank 300 for.

That IS a good deal – wish I had a need/use for some Persians.

But you do… 28mm DBA 3.0 is calling your nane. I hear it. Don't you?

'fraid not – I do DBA (on the rare occasions when I do), and in fact all mass combat games, in 6mm. I only do skirmish in 28mm, and sadly I can't think of a use for those Persians, even in a fantasy force.

Is that a great Nane?

My wife is quite fond of the 'Vikings' series. Wonder if I could exploit that as well?
