Procrastinating and want some input from the the internet wargaming hive mind.
1. Does this scheme work? 2. Is it better to cut my losses on the Takara FS/144 miniatures and go down the Dream Pod 9 route? Either here, or on my blog here: link |

Wow! That looks really great, love the camo. |

Love the scheme, great paint job. I am confused on the second question. Are the Takara FS/144 hard to find or more expensive than Heavy Gear? |

My one thought here is that there are so many odd little variations in Heavy Gear's stuff that camo makes it tough to ID your own figs, never mind your opponent's. |

@Haywire The Takara are tough to find, out of production now for seven years. @GypsyComet I can live with that, because I number the models and write it on the record card. With regards to the Heavy Gear models I plan on using the Caprice walkers as Russian Federation, and the Utopian Golems as Chinese PLA combat armour. |

1. Does this scheme work? Too well, IMO. Tough to tell where the edges of the armor are. 2. Is it better to cut my losses on the Takara FS/144 miniatures and go down the Dream Pod 9 route? I'd hold off on going to DP9 minis until they start shipping the plastics about this time next year. I anticipate a moderate price drop for the plastics. |
