This was by request, and it's one of the things that has never been rendered by GW as even a sketch, so one can take a lot of liberties with the concept! Since the other items in the DeathBot line have tended to be shorter and broader, I decided to go with something more vertical and looming. As always, more pics are on my blog: link
This thing measures about 55mm tall and has a footprint of about 30mm. Feedback and helpful suggestions are welcome! Thanks,

Thanks, L4! Do you think any particular one is better than any of the others? Although it really doesn't matter; with on-demand printing, I can easily post all four to Shapeways. |

As a stand-alone I think the third one along (in the black and white pic) is probably the best, but I like the flexibility of the first, especially if you offered it *without* the sphere as well – that would allow people to add a marble, ball bearing, or whatever sphere they liked the size and/or finish of. Dom. (Who keeps looking at these and going "one day" – a decent number of Monoliths makes for an expensive proposition, but they sure look good.) |
