Here is a link to some pictures of our forthcoming 15mm Late Saxon range, sculpted by Rod Campbell. I am hoping to have these out by the end of the year. link David splinteredlightminis.com |

They look great. Please keep a separate pack of the Saxon fyrd with upright spears. The will make a great generic barbarian type. Give them oval shield and they can be Late Roman. Give them wicker shields and they can Sassanid. |

Yes, fine minis. Mr. Campbell has certainly matured as a sculptor. |

I agree, stunning. Your historical just keep getting better. I hope you and Roderick keep adding new periods. Maybe the Baron Wars or El Cid next? |

Thanks to everyone. Great idea on offering the spears with a variety of shields, though I do encourage anyone who needs different shields than any of my historicals normally have to email as I am always happy to switch out. Logain, I am planning either Ancient Franks, Carolingians, Moors or Byzantines next. |

Moors would be awesome. Looking forward to which ever one you go with. |

Thanks for the kind words. Glad you enjoy the sculpts. "Maybe the Baron Wars or El Cid next?" Hmmm… Those are definitely things I want to sculpt. And I just finished some research for Carolingians and Lombards. |

I like the early Franks with their topknots and throwing weapons. |

Franks would make great mercenaries for my Dux Brit project, but I've always hoped you would go backwards a bit and fill out the Arthurians with a proper Late Roman line. |
