Here is a link to some pictures of our forthcoming 15mm Late Saxon range, sculpted by Rod Campbell. I am hoping to have these out by the end of the year.

They look great. Please keep a separate pack of the Saxon fyrd with upright spears. The will make a great generic barbarian type. Give them oval shield and they can be Late Roman. Give them wicker shields and they can Sassanid.

Very nice indeed, thanks for posting.

Yes, fine minis. Mr. Campbell has certainly matured as a sculptor.

I agree, stunning. Your historical just keep getting better. I hope you and Roderick keep adding new periods. Maybe the Baron Wars or El Cid next?

Thanks to everyone. Great idea on offering the spears with a variety of shields, though I do encourage anyone who needs different shields than any of my historicals normally have to email as I am always happy to switch out.

Logain, I am planning either Ancient Franks, Carolingians, Moors or Byzantines next.

Logain23 Nov 2014 2:51 p.m. PST

Moors would be awesome. Looking forward to which ever one you go with.

Thanks for the kind words. Glad you enjoy the sculpts.

"Maybe the Baron Wars or El Cid next?"

Hmmm… Those are definitely things I want to sculpt. And I just finished some research for Carolingians and Lombards.

I like the early Franks with their topknots and throwing weapons.

Holy moly! Those are beautiful!

Brilliant as usual.

Those will end up on my "Must Have" list!

Franks would make great mercenaries for my Dux Brit project, but I've always hoped you would go backwards a bit and fill out the Arthurians with a proper Late Roman line.
