I pose a question to you good people out there I have around 40 of the Gametech Space 1889 miniatures and I need to sell them now I have a buyer but I don't know how much to ask for.

So how much should I ask for these miniatures?

Thanks

I believe there have been some of these sold on ebay. You could check there & see if they've been selling.

Also, there 2 yahoo groups that might be able to help. One called S1889 for general Space 1889 stuff & one called SGoM specifically for the Sky Galleons of Mars game.

I believe they are still available from Rafm, they were even extending the range. So don't believe everything you see or read on Ebay about rarity, OOP or prices.

Surely, they are worth what the buyer is prepared to pay? Prices on e-bay can vary quite a bit and should be treated as a guideline only.

Here is the link to the Rafm 1889 site.

The Gametech ships weren't done by RAFM, and have been hard to find for some time. They were much better sculpts than the plastic ships in the original boxed sets, as well as the Houston's versions.

After looking thru the ships again it looks like 16 of the ships are the Gametech ones and the rest of them save a couple are the Houston ships,I think I have 2 plastic ones.

And thanks for all the help so far.

Captain
Which ships do you have. I was a huge Gametech fan and did a little work with Scott Flower. Depending upon shich ships you have they might well be worth some good coin. Can you ID then or do you have pictures?

Captain Gideon22 Nov 2014 3:12 p.m. PST

tsofian I sent you a PM with my email address so please send me an email and I can send you pictures since I don't have a clue as to which ships I have.

All I can tell you is that the ships of Earth and Mars.
