Hey guys just a heads up that Critical Mass Games is launching a new Kickstarter Campaign at 22:00 GMT today to fund the Ayame Battlesuits and Protolene Infantry in 30mm.
The Campaign Video is up on you tube here: youtu.be/PKfY_hblWlU |

You guys did adamn fine job with your last ks with on time production and delivery, I'll back this happily. Just don't be upset if I'm eyeing these as giant mecha for 15mm scale fun. |

Thanks McWong it's great to know you where happy with our last KS. Using these for giant 15mm Mecha is a great idea, you can even use the Critical Mass Rules Mercs force generator to point them up link |

So just to clarify, will you be releasing all the protolene infantry troop types in 30mm (ie 28mmm-compatible)? Because I would be very interested in backing that! I have another, slightly related question: how tall are the various 15mm range praesentia troop types – ancients, enlightened, etc? I know some are quite tall; I was hoping to use them for 1/72 gaming. |

Hi TwinMirror and the moment the Campaign is focused on the Ayame with a squad of 6 Infantry supporting. As the campaign progresses more things will hopefully become available depending on how successful we are. Sorry to be vague about it, but yes all the different types would be great. As for the Preasentia I will sort something better out for you but please check out this link for now link |

Hello and thanks for the information on both scores. By the looks of the forum photo, those praesentia are about 20mm tall, if their background squares are 1cm each. Any more precise info is much appreciated! Regarding the KS, will there be the possibility of a seperate pledge for just the infantry support? The battlesuit is excellent, but it would also be good to have the possbility of a seperate pledge level for just the infantry, for those who wish to bulk out their forces with extra troops, and those who'd just like a squad of infantry. Cheers! |

Does this KS need a separate pledge for Infantry? I understood you are pledging for "vouchers". Surely a "voucher" is worth X infantry (where X = ?) just like it's worth Y battle suits (where Y = 1). I think it's a very good idea to do a KS this way BTW (I'm sure most peeps will disagree tho), but wasn't sure if it's within KS rules since I don't think I've ever seen one before. Oh and why does every officially posted link I've seen so far points to the campaign video instead of the campaign itself? |

Hey guys the Campaign is now live on Kickstarter here link The previous links went to the video as the project was not yet live on kickstarter itself. Infantry only pledges will not happen as the current pledges allow for that as a potential. The pledge levels given will allow you to have a mix of battlesuits and anything else that becomes available as an option. For example the battle pack pledge awards 3 options. At the moment the only options are Ayame Battlesuits. At the 5.5K stretch goal the Dogs of War is unlocked, adding a 6 Figure infantry as 1 option to that list. As reward for your battle pack pledge you would then be able to still select all three options as Ayames, OR all three options as infantry, OR mix and match you three options. I hope that helps clear things up, let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks Craig @ Critical Mass Games |

Hi Craig, Though the battlesuits are great, I'm backing this mainly for the Protolene infantry. If they're as good as your 15mm range (which they're bound to be) they'll be awesome. In fact, I've been hoping you'd move in to 28/30mm for some time! Is there any chance at all that you could make them a basic pledge option, like each battlesuit, instead of a stretch goal target? It looks like you're already in the process of sculpting them, and I think the possibility of having them as a basic option would attract a lot more gamers to the project. Of course, I'm hoping you do really well and that there'll be no need to change the set-up…but I do think a lot more People would come onboard if the infantry were a basic option (not something that becomes unlocked at a stretch Level). Either way, good luck with the KS! |
