How do these compare with other wss figures size wise? Are they bigger 15mm?

They are 15mm and fit with DIXON, etc rather than 18mm figures

Here's a picture with a Blue Moon figure for comparison. As you can see the Black Hat figures is noticeably shorter.

Would they work size wise with the Rebel Minis pirate hunters?

The thing to consider is the head size take a good look at it before you buy. If it seems OK to you go ahead as these are nicely detailed 15mm miniatures.
