A veteran of Korea and Vietnam and author of several very good books, passed away last month.

I would recommend Thud Ridge to anyone with even a passing interest in the Vietnam Air War.

I read Thud Ridge a while ago, very good book that illustrated the stupidity of having the Pentagon or White House assign or approve tactical targets.
