its a curious notion….. there has been the odd TV attempt of course, – there was that thing with Angela Rippon, some of it was even moderately interesting….but no, its a rubbish spectator experience….but then again, is it any worse than snooker? (which can be good) or darts??? the only reason wargaming is not a spectator sport in some sort of form is because of its nerdy social position, get rid of that and tv would be all over it (plus get in a few attractive female commentators/umpires etc). Its got nothing to do with the content, its completely about how it is presented within the social context of it's targeted audience. |
