Thanks. That really helped understand the rules a bit. Wasn't it a bad move to have the militia hold and take the melee on the chin, rather than having them retreat? Certainly in hindsight, given that they got slaughtered and ran, but it seemed that they should have pulled back. Or am I missing something? I take it that it is cold in your man cave?!? |

Hi Dale I didn't do this as a real game so to speak I wanted to show different situations and how they would be handled by the rules. The best book I have found to date is Ewalds Diary of the American War, or something like that. At the moment my man cave is wet (outside) but not to cold. That will come. Thank you for the note. Keep em coming. *** Chris Parker dayofbattlegames.com Day of Battle Games, 40mm Trident and Vanguard minis, wood and magnetic bases Facebook link |

I will be attending "Game Day" which is December 6 in Brunswick Maine. This event is held twice a year. Brother Dave and I will be running 2 player demos of Light Bobs all day so if you can make do stop for a look see and even to try to push some 40mm figures around the table, they are after all quite heavy. Thank you, just under 100 views so far so even if the comments here are lacking at least people are clicking on the links to watch. Peter Rice suggested doing a new one down closer to the figures and perhaps from the opposite side. I will try that next but my video camera isn't a very expensive model so not sure of the results.
