As a past customer of The Emperors Own I will say that Scott's service has always been top notch. His painters are some of the best around and I have always been extremely happy with every figure he has had painted for me. I would not hesitate to use his service. |

John I find your comment rude and (in case you are a painter) extremely unprofessional. I have been using several different painting services and all I can say is that The Emperors own service is top notch and the amount and perfection of the details of his 18mm is simply unbelievable. |

Scott's service has painted over 2500 figures for me and as mentioned above the detail and quality has been amazing. I have seen painters charge much more for the same or less quality. Scott you have my business until you say stop. |

Not impressed John …….. and very non professional of you !! your PM says you received a few inquiries already and that people don't need to go ( offshore ) …. you are correct they don't … you also say I'm over priced. Over priced ? well I don't think so .. if I had been how could we have stayed open for the last 10 years ? Prices are always a reflection of what people are willing to pay for quality work or a business would not survive correct ? And Having painted over 80,000 Figs in the last 9.5 years should also give you a hint. Offshore you say ? Well I ask you this simple question ……… Can your wife make a living wage with her painting ? Because my workers do !! and can support not only themselves but there family. I start this service with 3 goals 1. To pay for my own hobby and not go broke having beautiful miniatures to put on my table and not have to spend years and years painting them myself. 2. To give my painters a good life and living wage the does support them and there families .. this is something that is not possible in the west. 3. To share with my customers quality painting that is very fair priced. |

wow. i guess you told me… |

Watching these AB French cavalrymen on blog, I must say, that 3 USD per figure with such excellent paintwork is charity.. the real price are at least 5 times higher. If these are the samples of cource.. BTW.. my Murats and other generals goes to Thailand too? |

I do not have this talent, but I do know how many hours my 28mm Gendarmes d'Elite have taken to finish. If I was trying to make some income out of that………this does sound a bargain. But, if someone else can do as well and less expensively, market forces may well determine demand. John Lacour. Why not just start your own topic, exactly like this, with samples and prices? Then no one can say you are hijacking someone else's forum……..Internet communication can be strange and offence so easily caused unintentionally….and I should know from recent experience! |

Sho Boki | 20 Nov 2014 9:08 a.m. PST |

Scott all I can say when I got back in this hobby 2 years ago I searched for a good painter and by far your quality, awesome, and your prices, very reasonable. Thank you for my 2,000 figures and more on the way, I am a fortunate Westerner and do not mind participating in the global economy that helps others. |
