The pines look representative enough in a cartoony sort of way. They would do in a pinch. I do like the other set just fine. They look pretty good and being of rubbery plastic, should hold up better than other trees on the market. |

Wow definitely not impressed. |

They are indeed cartoon-like, and maybe they would do on a "toy-gaming" table…., but for a "normal" wargame table I do not like them at all. They could ruin a good looking table in my opinon and I would not buy them. But of course it is just a matter of taste. |

Not my cup of tea. Too "spongy" for my tastes. Good luck though! Great looking trees are a huge part of a good looking table. I spend a lot of money on mine. That said, I know they have a "shelf life" so every year I expeect to retire some (cut them up for making into terrain) and introduce a new crop… |

I understand durable, but $30 USD for one stand of 8 trees? I'm sure the deal is better when buying more. But they do look a bit cartoony. I wish the bases would be smaller, hold less trees. Allow greater control on the size of the forest or grooze. |

I think these will need more than a kick to get started. |

They would go well with a Rivets game. |

I do not think they will sell w/ gamers ,maybe kids. |

Horrible timing too – just when the dollar stores and Xmas shops are stocking up on their trees (cheaper even before the sales). You can get a nice looking GF9 Battlefield in a Box set for the same price too. |

I must ammend my last statement. Apparently resin and not spongytotouch…just the look. I think the oak trees will do nicely. They probably will not look too different from K&M trees. |

You can get a nice looking GF9 Battlefield in a Box set for the same price too. I wish. I'd definitly go for the GF9 trees instead but they don't make them anymore…or at least they are indefinitly out ofstock. |

(cut them up for making into terrain) and introduce a new crop… Extra Crispy, do you mean you are composting your old trees before planting new ones on your wargame table? :-) :-) |

Their conifers remind me of the Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer holiday movie. |

@Monash: More re-cycling. Trim off all the foliage to use as ground cover or what have you….just toss the trunks. Or add mroe foliage, just depends. |

"realistic" ??? Their conifers remind me of the Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer holiday movie. +1 Maybe they could be used with Eureka's Teddy Bears? Or for Gnome Wars? |
