I bought two packets of GW's Mordheim Turf to base my Zulu Regiments with as I like the light colour of these Tuffs.

When I went to check the result of my basing I discovered that the medium (glue) which GW has used is not transparent and is really obvious.

Is there a product which matches these, as I am really annoyed by this?

I think some of the Army Painter tuft grass might be useful.

I also like the Army Painter tufts. They look good with both 28mm and 54mm models.

You can always make your own using static grass and white glue on wax paper.

I am a big fan of Army Painter Tufts.

Thanks, I have used Army Painter tufts on both my 28mm Vietnam and Robin Hood projects. I really want to use a lighter looking Tuft similar to the GW supplied one, but am unable to work out from the photos which ones would look similar in colour.

So I am guessing that the answer to my question is No?

(Sorry feeling a bit grumpy this morning)

I ripped all the tuffs of the bases as they never looked like they were glued down at all.

I wonder if GW would give me my money back?

I've not tried it myself, but I've read previous posts where people have painted and drybrushed the tufts to help them transition / blend in with their basing and static grass.

The GW grass used in the Mordheim Tufts is "Dead Grass"
