Wow!! 10lb-1oz is Awesome.

I'm still waiting for my grand kids. Right now I just have grand-cats. Four of them.. And yes I am allergic to cats. But my heart goes out to the Mother. That is not an easy load to bear and deliver. And I understand what she went through

My Daughter was 9lb 12oz and my Son 10lb 12oz. My wife was afraid to have another. Not to mention some threatening jesters with a pair of scissors.

Congratulations! You'll quickly find how wonderful grand parenting is. We have a single grand daughter (4 yrs old), but she is the light of the family.

Congrats!

We have two grandsons – 4 and 2 – being a grand parent is the best!

Cold Steel14 Nov 2014 12:19 p.m. PST

Congratulations! Being a granddad is a LOT more fun than being a dad. Like Texas Jack says, spoil them rotten, fill em full of candy, then hand them back. If your kids say anything, tell them it is revenge!

Congrats, read somewhere that: Grand kids are gods gift to you for not killing your kids. Grands kids great to spoil.

Congratulations, punkrabbit ! You have now entered a new era jampacked with fun and exhaustion (;-)). VA Wargamer: the saying is "Grandchildren are your reward for not killing your teenagers". And concerning the future: two of my grandsons (2 and almost 4) already have moved – sneaky, because they are sure that grandpa will not allow it ;-)) – various figures on the two lowest shelfs (the other shelfs are too high).
